July is parks and recreation month.

Members of the different commissions and boards that work on park and recreation programs, for all ages and abilities, listened to Council Member Dan Gustin read a proclamation declaring July Park and Recreation Month.
A number of children also attended the Reno City Council Meeting to show their appreciation with a huge thank you note to the Council for its support of the programs. Also pictured is Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director Julee Conway.
