Acting Police Chief puts more officers in neighborhoods.

Under a Police Department reorganization, Acting Reno Police Chief Steve Pitts is increasing the number of community action officers. Currently, there are two officers in the program. They are dramatically curbing calls for services in the Pat Baker Park and Yori Park neighborhoods through communication and a proactive approach to problems.
