Be a part of the solution by joining the downtown Alcohol Advisory Committee
Reno prides itself on being a unique, 24 hour town. That is why many of us love living here! But some are spoiling the downtown scene by drinking too much and creating all sorts of problems. What’s the solution to these rowdy, sometimes annoying and sometimes potentially dangerous people?
If you think you have a solution that would make the bars, restaurants, downtown residents and downtown businesses happy, you might be a perfect fit to serve on the downtown Alcohol Advisory Committee.
The City of Reno is soliciting applicants to serve on an Alcohol Advisory Committee to help find solutions to complaints surrounding alcohol related businesses in the downtown core. The boundaries for the establishments under consideration are I?80 to California Avenue and Keystone Avenue to Wells Avenue.
All stakeholders, including businesses or residents who feel they may be impacted by any action or decisions made by the committee, are encouraged to apply and participate.
Applications may be obtained online at the City of Reno website at www.cityofreno.com or by visiting the link below:
