Vacation Station is Open for Today’s Snow Day

The City of Reno’s Vacation Station program is open today to provide child care for families who still need to work even though WCSD has canceled schools. Held at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center, located at 1301 Valley Road (near the Livestock Event Center), Vacation Station is available from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. The fee for the day is $25.

Parents need to send a lunch and weather-appropriate clothes with their children. Registration materials will need to be completed, so allow a little extra time to complete them.

Also, there will be no before-school or after-school Sierra Kids today due to the WCSD cancellation of classes. When WCSD:

• Declares a late start, there is no morning Sierra Kids

• Closes school early, there is no afternoon Sierra Kids
